Using Sigma Learn
Sigma Learn is a product of Sigma Hive Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). It is a study platform: courses, question banks, interactives, notebooks and AI study help. By using it — as a guest or with an account — you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself.
- One person per account. You are responsible for what is done with yours.
- If you are below the age at which you can agree to terms like these where you live, a parent or guardian must agree for you.
- Educator and guardian profiles are set up by us, not chosen at sign-up.
Fair use
Please do not:
- copy, scrape or redistribute the lessons, questions or interactives in bulk;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
- use the AI features for anything unlawful or abusive, or to get around their usage limits;
- use someone else’s account, or share yours to get around a plan’s limits.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
Content
The lessons, interactives, designs and software are ours or our licensors’, and are provided for your personal study and for teaching your own classes. Past exam papers and mark schemes remain the property of their exam boards. Qualification names are trademarks of their owners; Sigma Learn is not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam board.
What you write — your answers and your notebooks — stays yours. You let us store and process it so the service can work.
AI features
Ask AI and AI marking are produced by an AI model (Google Gemini). They can be wrong. They are study aids, not official marking, and not a prediction of an exam result. The solution and mark scheme shown with each question are there so you can check.
If you use your own Gemini API key, your use of it is also subject to Google’s terms, and any charges Google makes for it are yours.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing.
- Pro is billed monthly at the price shown on the pricing page, and renews each month until you switch back to Free.
- You can switch back to Free at any time in Settings → Subscription & billing; Pro’s included AI stops when you do.
- Pro’s AI allowance is a weekly amount. What is not used in a week does not carry over.
- If the price or what a plan includes changes, we will say so on the site before it applies to you.
No guarantee of results
We work to keep the content accurate and matched to each specification, but specifications change and mistakes happen. Sigma Learn does not guarantee any grade or exam outcome. If you find a mistake, please tell us.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running but do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using it, or from not being able to.
Ending things
You can stop using Sigma Learn at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use Sigma Learn after a change means you accept it. Questions go through the contact page.
